Account & Data
-
Please mind, that to be able to restore your data you need to have made a backup.
If you've backed up your data, you can always restore it through Settings > My Data > Restore Data or with the Sign in and restore data option when starting the app - enter the email and password you used when creating your backup account.
If you have not made a backup but have a device with all of your data in My Calendar, you can back up your data there through Settings > My Data > Backup.
If you do not have a backup nor a device with your data, unfortunately, your data cannot be restored
Our recommendation: always back up your data to keep it secure and avoid losing it.
Set up the backup when you start using the app or through Settings > My Data > Backup > Auto backup. Then all the data you logged in the app will be automatically saved and updated every week.
If you lost your data after deleting the backup (in Settings > My Data > Delete my Account) and resetting the app (in Settings > My Data > Delete data from phone or by deleting app data in the settings of the device), all the data from the app and the backup will be permanently deleted.
-
Transferring My Calendar records from the old to a new device is possible in several ways:
1. Open the app on your previous device.
2. If you've configured a backup on your old device, install My Calendar on a new device and restore your data in Settings > My Data > Restore data or with the Sign in and restore data option when starting the app.
3. If you haven't configured a backup on your old device, but can do it now, go to Settings > My Data > Back up data > Automatic backup (suggested). After your data is successfully backed up, install My Calendar on a new device, and restore your information in Settings > My Data > Restore data or with the Sign in and restore data option when starting the app.
4. If you haven't set up a backup on your old phone, and My Calendar app is not available on your old device anymore, unfortunately, the data cannot be restored.
-
Changing the backup email address is done in 2 steps:
1. Go to Settings > My Data > Back up data > disable Automatic data backup.
2. Enable Automatic data backup again > enter your new email address and password > tap Backup.
-
To recover the password, go to Settings > My data > Restore data, enter your Backup email address and click Forgot? Tap here. A password reminder will be sent to the email address you've specified.
Alternatively, when starting the app, tap Sign in and restore data, enter your Backup email address and tap Forgot? Tap here. A password reminder will be sent to the email address you've specified.
Do check your spam folder if the email with the password isn't appearing.
If the password still fails to arrive, please contact our support team for help.
Period cycle & Pregnancy tracking
-
My Calendar predicts periods based on the period prediction option selected in Settings > My Cycle > Period Prediction.
If you select Use predicted values, My Calendar will predict period dates based on the past cycles you’ve logged. The more information you enter, the more precise the app's predictions will become. Please mind that the prediction will take some time to adjust to any changes.
If you select Use your own values, you will be able to set the period and cycle dates and lengths manually. The predictions are static and will only change if you change the settings..
Our recommendation: if your cycle varies in duration, select Use predicted values so that the app could recalculate and adjust your period notifications depending on the data you enter and make more accurate predictions.
-
To edit, delete, or add a period, go to Stats > Cycles and scroll down. Under the charts with the average cycle and period length, there is the Add new cycle button and the list of menstrual cycles you logged. If you click on a cycle from the list, you can change the period start and end dates or delete the record about this cycle by clicking on the Recycle Bin icon.
To change the information related to a particular day of the cycle, please go to Stats > Timeline and select from the list the day that needs editing.
-
All the information you logged (such as period start and end dates, flow, fertility window, moods, symptoms, and more) can be viewed as a list in Stats > Timeline. In the Timeline tab, you can also edit information related to the selected day. Be sure to take a look.
-
The calendar on the main screen is color-coded to display the fertility window, ovulation day, period duration for the current, previous and future cycles. Ovulation day and the fertility window are marked purple. The calendar also features a color legend located below - scroll down to view it.
If you don't see ovulation day and fertility window in the calendar, go to Settings > Personal > Calendar view. Check if Ovulation and Fertility Info is enabled to ensure this information is displayed on the calendar.
If the ovulation day and fertility window markings are still not available on the main screen calendar, please contact our support team for help.
-
The app calculates the ovulation date based on the history of the previous cycles. If you want to enter the ovulation date manually, go to Settings > My Cycle > Ovulation and fertility prediction > Use your own value. Editing the length of the *Luteal phase will change the ovulation date and fertility window prediction on the main screen calendar.
*The luteal phase is the second half of the menstrual cycle. It starts after ovulation (when the mature egg is released) and ends with the first day of the period.

Unfortunately, we do not yet have the option to log a past pregnancy. When activating the pregnancy mode, the app automatically calculates the gestation starting from the latest logged period .
When the pregnancy mode is enabled, the due date will be displayed on the main screen calendar. and you won't be able to add a period, as pregnancy should not overlap with any menstrual cycles. If you want to deactivate the pregnancy mode, go to Settings > My Cycles > My Pregnancy > Deactivate pregnancy mode and follow the instructions.
After deactivating the pregnancy mode, cycle predictions will not resume automatically. When the period returns, log it in the app to resume cycle prediction. To do it, tap the large + button in the bottom menu and select the Period starts today option. Alternatively, you can log the period in Stats > Cycles > Cycle history > Edit by check marking the period days.

Notifications
-
Please check if My Calendar notifications are enabled in Settings > Reminders.
If the Settings are correctly configured, but notifications still don't show up, the problem might be with manufacturer settings or third-party apps blocking the notifications.
Some of the issues stem from a battery-saving feature that shuts down the app when it's not being used. To troubleshoot this issue, change the device's power management settings to get a reliable notification delivery from the selected apps.
Take a look at how to troubleshoot common notification issues for Android and iOS.
